I follow a very simple cyclical structure when thinking about my events.

Plan - Prepare & Promote - Deliver - Reflect - Report

If you run multiple events you probably have overlaps in the cycle entering in to a perpetual motion of event planning which tends to lead to event fatigue when you reach the delivery phase. With the right digital tools, services and platforms at the 'prepare & promote' phase, the right media capture and creative process during the 'delivery' phase (the event itself) you can set yourself up for a rewarding 'Reflect' and 'Report' phase. Keep it simple I always say.

The nature of the event will have it's unique complexities and scale but a simple core is a great foundation.

This set of digital tools assist the Prep and Promote phase of your event.

PlanCast - www.plancast.com - Share your event with Twitter, Facebook and Email connections

Lanyrd - www.lanyrd.com - Collate all your event resources, speakers profiles, hashtags, event timetable

Eventbrite - www.eventbrite.com - Sell tickets and collect valuable audience information

ISSUU - www.issuu.com - create interactive page turning brochures from PDF's for your website

NOTE: I can gradually add more resources if they are useful. I curate several networks of this nature and I can't post to all of them. I do tend to favour the ones who talk back and engage in conversation. Some of you have questions, some of you have knowledge to share, In my experience an online network is only as good as the members who participate.
